In June 2019, theatre director Fabrizio Crisafulli and dancer Alessandra Cristiani staged Corpoluce at “La stanza”, a space for contemporary art in Narni. It was the first time that the two artists produced a jointly conceived work. The performance is structured on the basis of a close exchange between dance and light, with the use of peculiar light techniques conceived by Crisafulli. This work reveals different and fertile affinities between the creative procedures of the two authors, concerning the genesis of the production, the conception of the “place” and the scenic tension. The result is a dense and incendiary work, developed in an innovative way on different levels, very rich in visions and poetic references.
